Thrillers are the most Popular Books in UK Libraries
The BBC reports that the most popular genre of novel from public libraries in the UK suggests is that of crime and thriller books. Readers appeared to have turned away from traditional romance and other genres in favour of thriller books.
- The MOST BORROWED book in the UK is Dan Brown’s ‘The Lost Symbol’ in the year 2011.
There are five books from American thriller writer, James Patterson in the top 10 and there are two books by the author Lee Child.
