100 Classic Novels Everyone Should Read

The Telegraph published online a list of 100 books that everyone should read. How many have you read?

OK you may not agree entirely with the whole 100 books listed here and it may be very UK but there are so many classics from my childhood. I am fond of thrillers and adventure stories and can remember a lot of this list as I grew up. Many I read at school (or they were read to the class). And many,  later were adapted for TV … some still are for the umpteenth time pulling in TV and cinema audiences.
